Your prayers have been answered – Sister Act is coming to Nottingham

Brace yourselves sisters – the habit is coming to Nottingham. Don’t miss this eagerly anticipated return of the Broadway and UK award-winning musical Sister Act.

All your prayers have been answered with a stunning cast, including West End star Landi Oshinowo as Deloris, alongside stage and screen star Wendi Peters who will play Mother Superior.

The cast also includes Alfie Parker as Eddie Souther, Ian Gareth-Jones as Curtis Jackson, and Eloise Runnette as Sister Mary Robert, alongside Isabel Canning, Julie Stark, Phillip Arran, Kate Powell, Elliot Gooch, Michalis Antoniou, Callum Martin, Esme Laudat, Amber Kennedy, Harvey Ebbage, Joseph Connor, Ceris Hine, Sheri Lineham, Corrine Priest and Samuel John-Humphreys.

Disco diva Deloris’ life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a murder. Placed under protective custody she is hidden in the one place she shouldn’t be found – a convent! Encouraged to help the struggling choir, she helps her fellow sisters find their true voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own.

Featuring original music by Tony® and 8-time Oscar® award-winner Alan Menken (Disney’s Aladdin, Enchanted) and songs inspired by Motown, soul and disco, this heavenly musical is joyous and uplifting in equal measures. A musical sent from above, Sister Act is the brilliant, must-see show which raises the spirits and warms the soul time after time.

Sister Act will be at Theatre Royal 16 to 21 September. Tickets are £22 to £56.50. Book now to see this five star “Heavenly Revival” (The Independent).
