RIDCC’s Lobke Nabuurs will become co-director of Nederlandse Dansdagen

RIDCC’s business manager Lobke Nabuurs is leaving RIDCC after five wonderful years to take up the position of director at festival The Nederlandse Dansdagen, an opportunity she felt she needed to take at this stage of her career. Lobke has been vital in growing RIDCC into what it is today and beyond. She will be deeply missed and RIDCC wishes her an amazing new step in her career.

Lobke Nabuurs: “With gratitude, I reflect on the growth that RIDCC has experienced. We have established a robust organization, creating a valuable platform for new choreographic talent in collaboration with numerous national and international partners. RIDCC has succeeded in creating opportunities for creators in a respectful and safe manner, securing structural financial support and project funding from new partners, as well as strengthening existing relationships.

My role in this process has been immensely fulfilling, and I have had the privilege of being part of an ambitious and dedicated team with support by the board. I leave with the utmost confidence that my successor will be able to build on this solid foundation and, together with this fantastic team, shape the future of RIDCC.”

Wishing Lobke Nabuurs all the best in her new role.”
