Join Company Chameleon and be their next Apprentice Company Dancer!
As part of Company Chameleon’s commitment to developing emerging dance talent, they’re excited to continue their apprenticeship scheme for 2025-2027.
Company Chameleon is looking for two Apprentice Company Dancers to join their team as part the scheme, starting in July next year.
They’re looking for dancers, age 21+, who are passionate about the artform and who can demonstrate a high level of commitment to their dance training and development so far, having completed a degree or equivalent.
As a core member of the creative team, you will: Take part in the Company’s weekly training programme; rehearse and perform in Company repertoire at theatres, events and festivals; support the Artistic Directors in the choreographic and creative development of a wide range of projects; and actively engage in the delivery of their learning and participation programme.
Whilst the role will primarily be working at the Company’s home base of Openshaw in Manchester, the successful candidate will also tour nationally and internationally throughout the year – locations will vary depending on the Company’s touring schedule and projects that are taking place.
Company Chameleon particularly welcome Black, Asian and ethnically diverse applicants because these groups are currently under-represented in the dance workforce.
Salary will be £18,000 per annum. There are two audition dates to choose from inLondon on Sat 18 Jan, 10:30am-6pm, and in Manchester on Sun 19 Jan, 10am-6pm.
